Daze Lake

My name is Tim Howman. I have been DJ for 20 years specialising in all types of music from 86 Acid
house, to 89 Summer Of Love, to 93 hard core slamming vinyl, to original drum and bass and finally
then to original House and Garage. I have fulfilled my love on vinyl. I started to get noticed just
before the age of 18 and was asked to play in local clubs, which then lead to me making local waves
in my hometown and areas surroundings with the original house and garage scene. A couple years
down the line, before the age of 20 I then started to hit the heart of London and was offered bigger
and better promotions such as, the heart stream of Pacha in Victoria, China Whites, O2 Arena
MATTER London and Ministry Of Sound club. This all then lead to me touring abroad to countries
like Sharm El Sheikh Pacha in Egypt, flying back and forth to Ibiza and other European countries.
This was all achieved by the age of 26 and I had my own residency in Pacha, London before it closed
down. I was playing with top mainstream DJs like Afro Jack, Eric Morillo, Judge Jules and Joey Negro.
Being the youngest of six around my brothers and sisters and watching them buy vinyl, discovering
club and house music made me have love for music at such a young age. As I was getting a lot older
into my early teens, hearing the producers like Todd Edwards and Grant Nelson really inspired me

to follow my dreams and achieving my goals.

At the age of 27 I started building my own studio and making my own tracks. I also got a
qualification in Logic Pro Engineering and managed to get this by going to a night college.
Having friends and connections in the music scene has really had a huge impact, by having record

labels wanting to work with me.
