“Born and raised in Bow E3, Simon Says has been DJing for over 20 years – which means it’s entirely possible he’s been doing it since before you were born. Starting on Goodman’s belt drives with 5p’s on the needles, thankfully now there is no need to break his disintegrating back any further by lugging around a bag full of dubplates; but rest assured he is still a DJ You Can Trust (™).  

From humble beginnings learning his trade playing garage and hip hop, he is best (and barely) remembered for residencies and guest mixes on various pirate radio stations in the 00’s playing grime at the advent of the scene. He has also played in clubs and on international tour dates for big artists! But he doesn’t like to talk about it until he knows you for more than 5 minutes.

While old school grime remains his specialism, he continues to enjoy mixing all kinds of mad shit. Expect the unexpected; while there will be dance music sets of all genres and BPMs his shows will also (possibly) include non dance music of all kinds, meandering commentary, film reviews and/or criticism, wanky academic philosophy anecdotes and guest mixes from his many talented DJ mates.”
